Lead Product Designers at Handshake lead product and design thinking within their areas or squads. Working closely with their UX research, product, and engineering partners, they define and design surprisingly great products and experiences that meet users’ needs, and are executed with a high degree of polish. Lead Product Designers will mentor and coach other designers working on their projects. We’re looking for Lead Product Designers across all areas of Handshake — Student, Enterprise, Edu, and Lifecycle.
We’re looking for two Principal Product Designers to pair up with our Head of Student Product Design and Head of Enterprise Product Design, respectively. The principal designer will focus on excellence in design execution across the portfolio, through working closely with and mentoring and coaching other designers, as well as setting up systems and processes to enable high-quality work. As a principal designer, apart from close collaboration with your Head of Design, you’ll partner with peers in product and engineering to ensure great design is happening and that we remain laser-focused on the user. You’ll be a senior decision maker, and together with the Heads of Design and the Chief Design Officer, you’ll set the direction for design at Handshake.
